Clifton Blog

This work is part of the county-wide Fairfax Tree Rescuers initiative.

We are working to get the word out to our neigbhors about the invasive plants in our communities. Can you help in your neighborhood? It can be as easy as sending out information which we will provide.

Join us twice a month as we clip the vines that threaten to spread and kill many of Clifton's trees. We will work with permission on both public and private land - suggestions are welcome! See the calendar for dates and the registration form.

Wear clothes to protect from thorns: long-sleeved shirts, long pants, sturdy closed shoes, hats, work gloves. Bring clippers, loppers, or pruning saws if you happen to have them (we will have extra.) Manual tools only.
